The Problem & Goal
Project Objective : The objective was to create a modern and informative online presence for the Les Recollets school group. The goal was to present the structure’s diverse educational programs and facilitate contact with families and prospective students
Initial Problem Statement : The institution lacked a dedicated, unified website to represent all its academic branches. This gap made it difficult for families to get a comprehensive view of the school’s offerings and to engage easily with the administration.
Target Audience : The primary audience includes parents of prospective and current students, local families researching educational options, and external partners interested in the school’s profile and pedagogical approach.
My Role & Tools
My Role : As the sole developer responsible for both frontend and backend aspects, I designed the user interface and implemented the entire site architecture. I also ensured responsive design, accessibility, and an intuitive navigation system.
Team / Context : This project was carried out as part of my final-year high school computer science assignment. I collaborated with two classmates on the planning and content strategy, while I independently handled all development and interface design.
Technologies Used : The website was built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Wordpress for layout and responsiveness. I also used GitHub for version control and deployment, and Figma for prototyping the UI.
