Catherine Kelsen Pâtisserie

Catherine Kelsen Pâtisserie is a showcase website created to highlight the refined world of a passionate pastry chef. The site invites visitors to explore her gourmet creations through a sleek gallery while offering an easy way to get in touch for custom orders and inquiries.

The Problem & Goal

Project Objective : My objective with the « Catherine Kelsen Pâtisserie » website was to design an elegant and intuitive online presence that showcases the baker’s creations and makes it easy for potential customers to get in touch. I aimed to reflect the artisanal quality of her work through a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.
Initial Problem Statement : Before the site existed, the pâtissière lacked a digital space to display her portfolio and communicate efficiently with clients. She needed a professional online presence to highlight her desserts and attract local clientele beyond word-of-mouth.
Target Audience : The website is intended for dessert lovers, event planners, and local residents looking for high-quality, handmade pastries. It serves both new visitors discovering her work and existing customers who want an easy way to reconnect or place new orders.

My Role & Tools

My Role : I handled the entire project from concept to launch. I designed the layout, developed all the pages using WordPress and Elementor, selected the visual assets, wrote the content, and ensured the site was responsive and easy to navigate.
Team / Context : This was a solo project that I created independently. There was no team involved; I worked directly with the client to understand her needs and translated them into a complete, functional showcase website.
Technologies Used : I built the website using WordPress and Elementor, which allowed for flexible design and fast deployment. I also integrated contact forms and optimized images to ensure smooth performance across all devices.
